Description for B&B:

Russell, Heather, Louis, and Henry invite you to experience the utmost comfort and luxury of their breathtaking 19th-century Chateau. Situated in the charming village of Salechan, nestled at the base of the Pyrenean Mountains, this meticulously restored home away from home offers a selection of five spacious and opulent rooms, each equipped with en-suite facilities and boasting stunning mountain views. Constructed in 1873, the three-story property is set back from the Route Nationale, providing complete seclusion and privacy. The front of the house exudes grandeur with its imposing marble columns and balcony. As you step inside, you will be greeted by a majestic sweeping staircase, original parquet flooring, and a unique marble fireplace in every room, among other delightful features.

Our beautiful rooms are named after the picturesque views they offer. The Chambre St Julien, located at the front of the house, beckons you to indulge in the breathtaking panorama from its two private balconies, one of which overlooks the Pyrenees and the charming Spa town of Bagneres De Luchon. This south-facing room is generously proportioned and exudes character with its lovingly restored original ceiling, parquet flooring, and magnificent marble fireplace. The en-suite bathroom, complete with a bath and shower, opens onto a private balcony facing south.

Also situated proudly at the front of the house is the Chambre Pic Du Gar. This centrally positioned room boasts a grand balcony and captivating views of Pic du Gar, ensuring your comfort and tranquility. The room is remarkably spacious, featuring a high ceiling and beautiful wooden flooring. Guests particularly favor the original fireplace and tastefully neutral decor. Chambre Pic du Gar also offers a sizable en-suite with a walk-in shower that extends the length of the room, complemented by double doors opening onto a private balcony.

We invite you to join us for breakfast in our exquisitely wood-paneled dining room. During the summer, the doors can be opened to a tiled terrace, creating a truly stunning setting for your sumptuous continental breakfast and a perfect start to your day. In the evening, we would be delighted to welcome you back for a delectable dinner. Our dining room, adorned with a Louis 13th chandelier, provides a splendid ambiance to savor local delicacies.

With prior arrangement, we eagerly anticipate hosting you at our dinner table, where you will be treated to an aperitif followed by a three-course meal showcasing the region's culinary delights. Your gracious host, who possesses extensive catering experience, ensures that you experience the finest dining experience in the area, as attested by one of our recent guests. This delightful meal will be accompanied by a selection of red or white wine and coffee. Vegetarian options are available upon request. For families with young children, we are more than happy to accommodate their mealtime routines by arranging for earlier dining.
