Located in a tranquil haven, this unique wilderness setting offers a perfect opportunity to unwind and experience serenity. The room is situated in a separate building from our house, providing a cozy 28 m² space complete with a kitchen and bathroom. Furnished with a 140cm bed and a 90cm bed that can be converted into a sofa for two guests, the room also includes a library, table, chairs, mini-fridge, microwave, stove, coffee maker, kettle, and crockery. Adjacent to the room, a delightful garden awaits, shaded by a pergola, offering a picturesque view. Children can also enjoy a shared play area. We accept payment by check. The price for two guests is 45€, or 55€ for three guests, including a small organic breakfast (with one double bed and one single bed). Additionally, organic and vegetarian meals are available upon reservation (only on Fridays and Saturdays) for 12.50€ per person. Please note that we do not allow pets. In the village, you will find a pottery shop and a local shepherdess who sells cheese. Within the Baronnies region, you can explore a castle, a Cistercian abbey, a gorge, an interpretive trail known as the "Little Amazon," and discover numerous charming villages frozen in time. The landscape is truly enchanting and holds a special classification.

Welcome to "The Barn Owl" cottage, nestled in the serene village of Baronnies at an elevation of 660m above sea level. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature while enjoying breathtaking mountain views. Explore the surrounding hiking trails right from your doorstep.

Situated on a spacious 3,500m² plot, the cottage shares the grounds with our main house and a separate guesthouse. This beautifully renovated barn features a comfortable ground floor with a combined living room and kitchen, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, you will discover two interconnected rooms, one with a 140cm bed and the other, a smaller room with bunk beds for children.

Indulge in outdoor dining amidst the picturesque mountain landscape in the private garden area. (*We also offer a separate B&B option called "Chickadees" for 2 or 3 people on the same site.)

Rental details:
- €285 per week outside of school holidays
- €385 per week during school holidays
- Unfortunately, we do not accept pets.
- Payment can be made by check.

Please note that at the end of your stay, there is a tourist tax of €0.50 per person per day (excluding those under 18 years old).

Additional services:
- We provide a sufficient stock of wood free of charge for the wood stove.
- Linen rental is available as an optional extra (€10 for single bed sheets, €15 for double bed sheets, and €5 for towels per person). Payment for this service can be made upon arrival.
- For the departure cleaning, we offer two options: either you can handle the cleaning yourself, or for a fee of €50, we can take care of it.

The surroundings:
The town of Lies is just 8km away from Bagnère-de-Bigorre, a charming spa town where you can explore the farmers market every Saturday. The town also offers a spa center (Aquensis), a cinema, a theater, and a swimming pool. Within a wider radius, you will find the ski resort Domaine "TOURMALET - BAREGES La Mongie" just 20 kilometers away, as well as the majestic Peak Midi de Bigorre (the ship of the stars) and the renowned city of Lourdes. The valleys surrounding our location offer numerous opportunities for both moderate and challenging mountain hikes.

Super régions , chambre dhôtes sans grand standing , mais elle a plein de charme et ce qu'il faut pour passer un séjour très agréable .Et en plus de la gentillesse des propriétaires le panorama est grandiose . Merci

Début novembre...Petit WE de repos dans un endroit paisible et un accueil fort sympathique.
La chambre équipée est très confortable et laménagement cuisine permet d'être indépendant pour les repas.Nous n'avons pas pu goûter aux repas du soir maison car nous sommes restés trop peu de temps.Nous recommandons cet endroit et un grand merci à nos hôtes pour leur service.
