Located just 10 minutes from AUBENAS, the MAS Bourlenc is the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway with family or friends. Surrounded by nature, you can enjoy the peacefulness interrupted only by the delightful sounds of birdsong and cicadas during the summer months. The property offers stunning views from different angles, ensuring privacy and tranquility.

The MAS Bourlenc is a beautifully restored stone farmhouse, spanning 230 m2, set amidst a lush, unfenced garden filled with various species of trees including olives, eucalyptus, figs, mimosa, oaks, and pines. The house is divided into two wings, one for daytime activities and the other for restful nights. Each wing has its own independent access, ensuring privacy, but they also have a connecting door allowing for convenient movement between the two sections. This setup ensures that everyone can go about their personal business without disturbing others.

The daytime wing features a small staircase leading to a large shaded terrace with a lovely arbor where you can enjoy al fresco dining. This terrace is followed by a second open terrace, offering breathtaking 180° views of the surrounding nature. The wing also boasts a spacious semi-professional kitchen with Provencal ceilings, equipped with everything you need to cook to your heart's content. The kitchen opens onto a cozy TV lounge with direct access to the terrace, as well as a toilet. Beyond the kitchen, you will find a grand dining room with a piano, fireplace, library corner, comfortable sofas, and a large ash wood table for memorable meals.

The other wing is dedicated to the five bedrooms, each with its own terrace furnished with tables and chairs, perfect for peaceful reading and enjoying the views. The first bedroom features a 140-sized bed, wardrobe, table, chair, and an open shower room with a separate toilet. The second bedroom has a 160-sized bed, dresser, table, chair, and a closet, with an adjoining bathroom featuring a round sandstone shower and toilet. This room also has a connecting door to the kitchen. The third bedroom offers a 160-sized bed, dresser, chair, table, wardrobe, and an en-suite bathroom with a closed toilet. The fourth bedroom has a 160-sized bed on the lower level and a loft with a 140-sized bed and two 90-sized beds. It also has an enclosed bathroom and toilet, as well as a dresser, wardrobe, table, and chairs. The fifth bedroom is a duplex with a ground floor bed measuring 140 in size and a loft with a 180-sized bed and a 90-sized bed. It also has an en-suite bathroom and closed toilet. All rooms are equipped with window screens (except the second bedroom), individual kettles, and hairdryers. Fans are also provided, and the windows and doors have wooden shutters.

To cool off, you can take advantage of the saltwater swimming pool, measuring 9.5 x 4.5 meters, complete with two jacuzzi jets on the stairs. From the poolside sunbeds, you can admire the olive trees on the property and enjoy the view of the Cevennes. A sheltered area with a fridge, table, and chairs is provided for your convenience. Additionally, there is a ping pong table, board games, and books available. Depending on the season, you may even have the opportunity to witness honey extraction at the honey house located below the terrace. Open parking is available at the bottom of the property.

The farmhouse is an excellent starting point for numerous hikes, whether on foot or by bike, and there is documentation available on-site to assist you in planning your adventures. If you're in need of some relaxation, a certified masseuse can be arranged to visit the farmhouse upon request.

The MAS Bourlenc is conveniently located just 12 minutes from Aubenas, 15 minutes from Vals les Bains, and 10 minutes from the villages of Jean Ferrat and Antraigues sur Volane. Appréciations pour Mas de Bourlenc, St Julien du Serre:

Coin de paradis
Review by: Stéphanie givolde , Sep 14 2015 10:00AM
