This description is for a rural 15th century house located in the valley of the Besbre - Sologne Bourbonnaise. It features a typical architectural style with a traditional bread oven and fireplace. The walls are constructed by laying wooden beams and filled with a mixture of mud and straw, with a stonewall plinth as the foundation.

The ensuite bathroom sheepfold is a newer masonry building that has been added to the property. The entire house has been beautifully restored by local craftsmen using traditional techniques, while also incorporating some modern comforts.

With 4 single beds, the house can accommodate up to 4 people. Additionally, the Sculpture Park Erich Engelbrecht, known as the Château des Fougis, is conveniently located just 300 meters away. As our guest, you will have free access to visit the sculpture park.

This charming cottage offers a tranquil retreat for those seeking a peaceful getaway. The rustic living room features a cozy fireplace and a traditional bread oven, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The spacious kitchen includes a dining area, perfect for enjoying meals with family and friends.

Upstairs, you will find a bedroom with two single beds and a mezzanine area with two additional single beds. For added convenience, the twin beds can be pushed together to create comfortable double beds in both rooms. The bathroom is located in a separate sheepfold and is only accessible from the outside, as shown in the photos.

Outside, there is a vast lawn and a large wooden table, ideal for alfresco dining and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. This property provides a peaceful environment with no television or internet connection, allowing guests to fully unwind and enjoy a good book during their holiday.

Parking is available on the property, and guests have access to a tennis court and table tennis facilities. Additionally, there is a private pond on the premises for swimming. Various hiking trails, canoeing, karting, quad biking, and other sports activities are also conveniently located nearby.

A weekly set of towels and bed linen is included in the rental price.

Additional charges apply for electricity consumption between October and April, based on actual usage (measured by an ERDF power meter). The cleaning fee is 50.00 EUR, and a tourist tax of 0.60 EUR per person, per night applies.
