This charming 15th century rural house is located in the picturesque valley of the Besbre - Sologne Bourbonnaise. It showcases the typical architecture of the region, complete with a traditional bread oven and fireplace. The walls are constructed with wooden beams and filled with a mixture of mud and straw, resting on a sturdy stone wall foundation. Additionally, there is a newer masonry building that houses the ensuite bathroom, designed in the style of a sheepfold. Local craftsmen have lovingly restored the entire property using traditional techniques, while also incorporating modern comforts to enhance the overall experience.

This description is for an old farmhouse located near Castle Fougis. It can accommodate up to 11 people, with 3 double beds, 2 single beds, 1 sofa bed, and 1 folding bed. The house has been restored by the previous tenant, who was the former farmer of the Castle of Fougis. Guests staying here will have the advantage of enjoying a beautiful view of both the Erich Engelbrecht Sculpture Park and the Castle of Fougis from the house and courtyard. Additionally, our customers will have the privilege of visiting the sculpture park for free.
