Welcome to La Petite Chesnée, a charming country house located in the picturesque village of Sacey, nestled in the heart of the Manche Department in Lower Normandy. Just a stone's throw away from the Brittany border and a mere 15 minutes from the enchanting Mont St-Michel, our bed and breakfast offers a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Built in 1833, our traditional country house boasts three well-equipped en-suite rooms, perfect for both family holidays and romantic getaways. Relax and immerse yourself in the stunning countryside surroundings. We provide a large private car park, a peaceful and spacious garden with a sprawling lawn, and a comfortable living room complete with a wood-burning fire.

Indulge in a delicious breakfast featuring local produce, and for those looking to explore the area, we also offer bicycle rentals for adults to enjoy the scenic Normandy roads. Children will delight in meeting our friendly goats and three ponies.

In addition to the incredible Mont Saint Michel and its magnificent Abbey, our location is ideal for visiting the many attractions of both Normandy and Brittany. Nearby, you'll find Granville, Fougères, Rennes, Dinan, Dinard, Dol de Bretagne, St Malo, Cancale (known for its delectable seafood restaurants), and the American cemetery of St James. Venture a little further and discover the historic D-Day beaches, St Lô, Bayeux (home to the famous tapestry), and more.

La Petite Chesnée is the perfect base for exploring the region in detail, embarking on a longer journey, or simply seeking a tranquil retreat. Our region offers something for everyone, from beautiful beaches and serene forests to medieval towns, castles, hiking trails, and even bay crossings.

Carine and Daniel, your hosts, are more than happy to provide you with local advice and information about the area. Whether you're interested in sports and activities like hiking, cycling, horseback riding, golf, fishing, swimming, tennis, bowling, or more adventurous pursuits like parachute jumping, karting, and sand yachting, our region has it all. Pontorson boasts its own race tracks, with horse races organized during the summer.

Additionally, you can explore the various weekly markets, flea markets, antique markets, jumble sales, local celebrations, and music festivals that take place in the towns and villages nearby. Children will be entertained by theme parks, zoos, aquariums, the Alligator Bay Reptilarium, and numerous picnic and games areas.
