Welcome to Simply Canvas! We are delighted that you have found us. Located in the beautiful surroundings of Bergerac in SW France, we offer glamping and cottages/gites with an enclosed swimming pool, providing stunning countryside views. Our booking season for 2017 is now open.

Experience true glamping with our 6 safari tents, each equipped with its own bathroom and comfortable boxspring beds. Camping has never been more enjoyable! Alternatively, choose one of our three self-catering cottages or gites, with one of them being incredibly spacious, ensuring you will never want to leave. All of our accommodations are situated on our expansive 12.5 acre property, nestled in the heart of the countryside, offering breathtaking views. And of course, we have a large enclosed swimming pool for all our guests to enjoy.

Located on the border of the Lot et Garonne and Dordogne departments in the Aquitaine region of Southwest France, we are conveniently close to Bergerac. Our region is often compared to the beauty of Tuscany, with its rolling hills, sunflower fields, charming wine chateaus, meandering rivers, picturesque bastide villages, scenic walking trails, and magnificent castles.

Amidst this stunning landscape, we warmly invite you to spend a memorable holiday with us. It's a perfect opportunity to spend quality time with your family, make new friends for the children, and enjoy delightful outings. Join us for our famous and delicious dinners, made with locally sourced ingredients, including fresh veggies from our own garden. Welcome to the Stone B&B Cottage at Simply Canvas, where your stay will be nothing short of idyllic. Crafted with locally sourced, beautiful stones and adorned with natural accents, this charming cottage offers a serene retreat. Relax in the cozy living room or prepare meals in the small kitchen. Ascend the stairs to the double bedroom on the mezzanine, complete with a quaint sitting area. Downstairs, there is an additional bedroom for two children, along with a spacious shower room and toilet.

At Simply Canvas, we offer glamping, B&B, and cottages/gites, all nestled amidst picturesque countryside views near Bergerac in SW France. Take a dip in our enclosed swimming pool or explore our permaculture garden.

Prices:
For stays outside of July and August:
- €90 per night for 2 persons, or €550 for a week including breakfast (minimum stay of 2 nights, arrival day flexible)
- €110 per night for 2-4 persons (€130 for 4 persons), or €650 for a week including breakfast (minimum stay of 2 nights, arrival day flexible)
- Additional 5th person: €50 per week

For stays in July and August:
- €925 for a week including breakfast for 2-4 persons (minimum stay of 1 week, arrival day on Saturday)
- Additional 5th person: €50 per week

Please note that there is a cleaning fee of €50 at the end of your stay.

By Car:
On Google Maps, simply enter: "Briquet, Saint Jean de Duras"

From Bordeaux:
Take the ring road towards Périgueux/Libourne and enter the highway (toll) shortly before Libourne. Take exit 12 for Ste Foy la Grande and once in Ste Foy, take the main road towards Duras (D708). In the village of Margueron, turn left towards Miramont. After approximately 5km, turn left at the sign for Briquet/Bonac. Continue for about 220m until you reach a white gate (on your right) and you have arrived.

From Brive la Gaillarde:
Take the highway towards Bordeaux/Bergerac. Take exit 12 for Ste Foy la Grande and once in Ste Foy, take the main road towards Duras (D708). In the village of Margueron, turn left towards Miramont. After approximately 5km, turn left at the sign for Briquet/Bonac. Continue for about 200m until you reach a white gate (on your right) and you have arrived.

By Train:
The closest train station is Sainte Foy la Grande. The closest TGV station is Bordeaux or Libourne.
