'Bring your good mood and experience the charm of this wonderful cottage! Rates start from 350th for a week and 250th for a weekend. We also offer special rates for holidays in February - please contact us for more information.In addition, we have availability from Saturday, May 2nd to Monday, May 4th, and from May 29th to May 31st.
For your well-being and to enjoy a budget-friendly family vacation, come and experience the nearby family ski resorts (Chalmazel Prabouré or Chalmazel) with downhill and cross-country skiing, as well as snowshoeing with a guide. You can also enjoy sledding with a pack of huskies at Col du Béal or Col de l'Or, and there are walking trails and snowkiting for children near the cottage.
The cottage is located near Chalmazel ski resort in the Loire region, with 10 downhill slopes and 100 snow cannons. It is also close to other ski resorts such as Pradeaux and Supeyres, which are all connected. You can check the snow conditions on the Prabouré website and the Chalmazel website of the Ambert Tourism Office or the Loire General Council website.
Our "Gite Farm" is surrounded by forests and offers a peaceful and comfortable stay. The cottage has been renovated using ecological materials and offers various activities and games for both children and adults. We provide bicycles and helmets and IGNs maps are available for your convenience.
This cottage is perfect for families, as the interior courtyard and play area are enclosed and secure. Meals can be enjoyed outside, next to the play area, allowing for easy supervision.

The cottage is conveniently located near several cities, including Ambert, God Chair, Thiers, Clermont Ferrand, and Vichy. It offers a stunning view of the mountains and is surrounded by greenery.
The cottage has a laundry room, a spacious living room with an open kitchen, a bathroom, and multiple bedrooms. It is heated by electric radiators and a wood stove. It also has a large grassy area with various games and activities for children, as well as a pergola with tables and chairs for outdoor dining.
Please note that linens are not provided, but we do offer various baby amenities.
There are many outdoor activities and attractions nearby, including two family ski resorts, the Fourme d'Ambert museum, and various local artisans. The area is also known for its beautiful hiking and mountain biking trails.

To get to Faye from Ambert on the D65, drive towards Bertignat for 11km. Just before reaching the Bertignat sign, turn right.
If you're coming from Thiers on the 906, continue until you reach the exit for Vertolaye. Take a right towards Bertignat and drive for 7km. Once you're in the village of Bertignat, turn left at the intersection towards Ambert. After passing the Bertignat sign, take a left towards Faye.
