The original house of La Grange in Negro dates back to the Gallo-Roman era, which is evident from the discovery of tiles, pottery, and amphorae in the surrounding area. This stone farmhouse showcases the typical architecture of the region, with vaulted rooms on the ground floor, Roman tiles, a covered terrace, and thick walls that provide a cool environment. The large garden offers partial shade and is equipped with sun loungers, hammocks, and garden furniture, allowing guests to enjoy the peaceful scenery.There are three spacious bedrooms, each with its own unique charm. The Mediterranean Room, located on the ground floor, can accommodate two adults and two young children. Its blue and white color scheme and decorations evoke the atmosphere of the Mediterranean. This room has its own bathroom with a bathtub and toilet, as well as direct access to the garden.
The Ardèche Room, situated on the first floor, used to be a silk room and still retains its corner fireplaces. It features a double bed and a single bed, and its decor showcases various landscapes of the Ardèche throughout the seasons. The room has its own bathroom with a shower and toilet.
The Africa Room, also located on the first floor, offers a view of the terrace through its generously large arched windows. It can accommodate two people with its double bed and features a shower room with a toilet on a mezzanine level. The room is adorned with memories and souvenirs from trips to Africa.
Guests have access to a spacious common room with vaulted ceilings, which includes a lounge area, dining area, and tourist information.
